    Disaster

Dont mean to be too critical, but I'm in a bad enough mood after Germany winning today. To lose away to Athlone, when we needed to go on a good run, is a disaster. We are now potentially 13 points off the top of table and Shamrock Rovers dont look like dropping many points, so I suppose we can now look forward to another season of mid-table mediocrity. Or does someone have the answers.....please can somebody have the answers?

p*ss poor match between two p*ss poor teams. Three good chances in the match. Brian McCarthy hit the crossbar in the first few minutes. Rojas missed an open goal from 3 yards out and he was still shaking his head 10 minutes later in disbelief. Then Fortune scored with a screamer of a free kick. Nobody deserved to win.

Fair play to yere supporters they sung through the match but got a lot quieter when the beer started wearing off Most of the Cootes were tied up in work so we couldnt get much going but we sing when were winning anyways.

Man of the Match was Eric Lavine. Probably the only player on the pitch looking to take the ball down and try to play football.

The outbreak of "Rovers Flu" is still rampant in Galway, I see.

Well, we're off to sample the Limerick experience next week, so we'll try to beat them and cheer yiz up, while you find a cure for the virus.

Dire result. No hope of winning this league (35 games left or not) unless we sign a raft of new players. Most of these players are not worthy to pull on a United jersey. Clear out the dressing room and bring in some decent players. If we lose the momentum the club has off the pitch were doomed. Quite frankly I dont know how the board members can stay goin with such ****e performances week in week out. I for one am losing my patience . Some of you my not want mercenaries comin in but I say we have a few already and methinks theyre about to found out!

it s not a pb of quality i suppose with this team but may be a question of team spirit lack of passion because i saw the shamrock rovers match and it was a one way traffic for united so why not every week???
,if i believe in what said batterie rover lavine man of the match ??!! so i suppose it s a lack of authority why is he good over there in athlone and not with united??
( i remember not so far ago when a certain mannion was in charge may be not my favorite manager as for authority he was the man! )
