Cafu ?
There is 1 player who was on a squad for his team in the 1990 World Cup who will be playing in this World Cup. I'm not so sure he actually played in 1990 but he was definetely in the squad.
Who is it???
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.
Kasey Keller (USA Keeper)

He's the only one I could findOriginally Posted by Ash
I think you might be right. I seem to recall a long-haired Kasey Keller in that squad alright. I think he moved to Millwall in the early-90s. Keller definitely didn't play in 1990 as Tony Meola was the first choice 'keeper for the US. The Italian media loved him because he had an Italian father.Originally Posted by Ash

Two players played were in their countries' squads for the 1982 World Cup and were still involved as players in 1998. Can anyone name them?

Correct. Indeed, I think that was Mathaus's fifth World Cup in a row - equaling a record previously set by a Mexican goalkeeper.Originally Posted by Metrostars
You should get the other one. He was a star in '82 with his moustache!

Watched a think on NASN last noght from the MSG network and they were doing a thing on US 'keepers. Fairly good (and kudos for sending a reporter to germany for it!) but had to laugh when they said "many European commentators regard him as the best in the world"
