    GUFC 0-Longford 0

    Typical pre season game again.

Only thing of interest was the three sendings off.Absoloute shocking behaviour from the inbreds.....management included. They'd want to cop on!
Can't see them doing anything really.Poor side.
Haven't got a clue why Keane was sent off

i don't really think it will have much relevance to our game in flancare but if any1 was at both games, what were we like compared to bogford?

A longford player threw a punch at Billy Cleary. An all out Bralw then ensued but all of the punches came from the Bogford players....all 22 almost id say involved. The bench of our side ran on aswell.Mathews and his management made one or two gestures to the crowd aswell. Clowns!
Lally was furious afterward.I mean keane did nothing to merit a red card and they should have had more than 2 sent off.

Aparently Keane ran in and headbutted Deano so he decked him with a punch. Both sent off.

Dont know exactly how sendings off during friendlies work, doubt he'll miss the match though. If he does though, we have plenty of cover in defense this year.

i think 400 is a big over estimate - more like 150 in attendance

ive seen the ref before - he tried to let too many tackles go in the first half - bearing in mind it was a "friendly " - in the second half after about ten mins 2 player from either side squared up had a bit of handbags and then traded slaps

the ref didnt take any action then either - should have sorted out the undercurrents - before the 22 man brawl

with out being biased here was instigated and elongated by the longford brigade
    classy bench alright!

one shot on target all game for the gufc - not great - where are the goals

also meant to ask - heard something from the coke and vodka crowd behind me about a bit of a scrap in a bar in longford last time after flancare park - and that at saturdays game a few grudges were trying to be settled?!?!

    No 150 is way off!
It was around 400.I was there from 2 30 onwards and there was about 50 in the ground up until K.O.But by the time we had 15 minutes played the ground had about 350-400.When it started lashing there was alot of people up the back and the stand filled up more aswell.

seen as your adament still its 400 id push for 200 at most, thinking there must have been loads of people out of sight from the main stand!

dont know where you saw these people - only about 20-25 on the rhs of the main stand where i was sitting

admitidly more in the lhs but no way 375

only way wed solve this out is ask the gate!!!!

Crowd was poor yes....but for a pre season against Longford on Saturday at 3.....i wouldn't have expected much.
It was 350-400.I had a look at the crowd when i went to the chipper. No way it was under 350.

    Murphy isn't getting worse.
