Predictions Comp?

Since the league is nearly apon us, I was thinking maybe we could have a predictions competition in the Rovers forum and possibly make it a sticky.

Sligo Rovers
Top Scorer
Most Suspensions
Most Assists (maybe hard to track)
Game which will have the Highest Attendance (league)
Game which will have the Lowest Attendance (league)
Table postions at the end of season ie
Sligo Rovers
Cork City
Dublin City.
....
....

Anyone have any other suggestions ??

i suppose we could put things like our league position our top scorer and stuff like that in a sticky and then every week predict our result and assign points to that then at the end of season add them points to points awarded for predicting the league position etc etc

Yeah but we can get the format sorted now.

So there could be a weekly Preidiction with people recieving points for correct score / result

Then at the end of the season we could add those points to the end of year predictions which will have to be made before the first game.

So End of Year Prediction Suggestions please...

if ur goin running predictions for every game, last season i was in a eL predictions league and the scoring was done like this:

correct home score:1pt
correct away score:1pt
correct margin(i.e. if u predict 2-0&it finishes 3-1 u get the point):1pt
correct result(win/draw/win):2pts

so a max of 5pts per game

There is one run on an english site that can be used for any league. I did it for the eircom league last year - http://www.pleague.co.uk/footie/default.asp

Maybe the same guy who organised it will do the same for the coming season

Cos if you look, some of the predictions are different than just predicting results, plus it's only Rovers ones, not all of EL. Don't worry Schumi, I'll still be doing the main one, I'm gonna win it this time
