I agree with you there. Was very anti the appointment but it's happened now. I can't believe we're still discussing who the manager should be. It's time to start concentrating on the team selection and what Staunton needs to do.

Great for some slap stick comedy but thats about it. Stan would be a far better move IMHO if MON wont take the post next autumn

The only pundits backing Staunton are all his buddies or people who know him & don't want to say bad things about him.

The reality is that this is a 4 year gamble. Have to give Stan 2 years to find his feet & sure at that stage have to give him another 2 to prove himself. It would be unfair (& expensive) to sack him after say a bad first 12 months...
