    Sligo 2-0 Kilkenny

After all the pre match predictions suggesting it was going to be very close but it was anything but.
Rovers were always in controll of the game, scored two good goals and never really looked like conceading.Hopefully Kilkenny will not let this result ruin their season and continue to pick up wins.

    Smile tonights game

we wre excellent in the first half deservered to go in 3 up. second half we found it hard to play at the samw pace as first halt. still im very happy. also thought the crowd was a bit bigger than usual and the stand did give some encouragement i n the latter stages of the 2nd half. next stop cork could come out of it with a draw we wont let ourselves down thats for sure cant make the game myself but wish all those that are travelling down sing your hearts out for the lads . we could do it but would have to play very well. i say to cork beware the ides of march

Kilkenny wer really poor, the score line flattered them, it could of been so much more. Still we got all 3 and Pat didnt look too happy at all.

Was having a weekend on the lash in your good town a few weeks back. Caught your cup game v pats. Support in the first half was legend (Barry Ryan looked really pi**ed off) but once the fans changed ends it was like yee all went home. Either stay under cover or build at the far end. Anyway, yee had a foreign bloke on the left wing who gave Barry prend the shi*s, who was he and where did yee find him.

Looked a class apart from everything else on the pitch except for the guy that came out at half time and made Ronaldo look boring. His skills were unbelievable, he must sleep with the ball of wind.

i believe he is a good singer too so with the face mask he might give us a rendition of one of the songs from phantom of the opera

Great result, I thought Browne and McCann did really well lastnight (I'd give that first goal to Browne aswell), McTiernan also had a good game and took his goal well. We had too much for Kilkenny overall but in fairness they look a different side to when they were in the Showgrounds last and they played some nice football. It's time too that Gerry Carr hung up those boots, I cringed when he missed that header just after coming on, they could have given some of the other lads on the bench a run!
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

sean fractured his cheekbone and he's out for 6 weeks.browne was fantastic tonight and deserved man of the match.most subdued performance i've seen from faz all season but we can't hold it against him because he's been outstanding all season.why was john o hara not playing?i was also disappointed that carlos didn't get a run.

Excellent result, thought the team played excellent ,big enough crowd, decent atmosphere and a good ref who wasnt fussy agree with above Gerry missing that header when he came on caused a bit of panic ,overall though Pat Scully cant have any complaints a deserved win and bring on Cork.
