Steve Donald, Cartoonist, author, illustrator-for-hire and one of the co-founders of the legendary Viz comic passed away in November. (spotted in this months Viz small print!)
On the way into the stadium, an elderly San Marino Steward waved us in and said "Tonight, may the best team win"
And they nearly did.
Viz used to be very funny.
Haven't read it in a long time, but it was genius at its best. Then it turned to complete pish.
The Parkie, Biffa Bacon and Big Vern were all a good laugh. Roger Mellie had good moments as well.

Not really, no. Simon (the chap who posted on the late Steve Donald's website) was 'silent co-editor' for a spell earlier this decade.
Chris Donald was the founding editor. He's the one who you may have seen on telly yapping about Viz. He was Ed until his near-breakdown in 1999, at which time a conglomerate of staff calling itself "Fulchester industries" took over the editors duties. This group included the writers & cartoonists Graham Dury, Simon Thorp, Davey Jones, Alex Collier & C&S Donald's younger brother Simon.
Collier & Simon Donald left the editorial staff in 2003.

in what way was she connected to Gene, wife?
Yes.
Think she was his girlfriend at first during the original series, wife for years then until he died.

She was in the orignal pilot as a cold ruthless First Officer. Exec's didn't like her, or Spock. They said lose the girl or the alien. Roddenberry used say he kept the Alien and married the girl.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!
