Are they the two grey ones on the left, or the stacked pile of dirty-looking red ones on the right?

Mounthawk is at the very western end of the town, so you can either go straight through the town, and drive out the Caherslee road, or else continue up Rock Street to Monavalley, taking a left at the roundabout. Yeah, two of the biggest secondary schools in Tralee merged around 20 years ago, and the new school is also near the ground!

But basically, the most straightforward route is to follow Rock St/Monavalley onto the Bracker O'Regan Road, but turning off just before reaching O'Donnell's Restaurant.

'Bracker O'Regan Road' is possibly the most Kerry thing I've ever heard

Have the Healy-Raes been similarly immortalised yet ?

Can't be them. They'd clash with either of the red or black chairs in the photo above

Any word on how Season Ticket sales are going for Kerry? You'd hope a few people found one under the tree over Christmas.

In a word, not really going at all, outside of the family tickets and possibly the terrace - they certainly can't complain about a lack of local media support, so will have to go all-in for receipts on the day:

That's a lot of unsold seats so far. Worrying stuff, and will make it harder to forward-plan financially. Definitely got the pricing wrong

Most definitely got the pricing wrong. They'll have to be challenging for the playoffs at those prices at the very least.

I still think the perception of value here is wrong.
One trip to an All Ireland final for a family with two kids is probably the season ticket cost for all Kerry FC home games for next season or probably half the cost at best of a trip to Liverpool or Manchester
We chronically under value ourselves here
Hopefully the crowds who are sort of interested ut not interested enough to buy a season ticket turn up for Kerry FC.
In fairness as i said earlier in this thread other than families who have a connection via the existing underage structure it is hard to see many people in Kerry being so committed at this stage as to be buying season tickets.
Taking into account the limited capacity they have i reckon they were looking at the "cost" of lots of cheap season tickets in a limited capacity stadium
Bit like Bohs who exclude kids season tickets from attending Rovers matches (and i'm not having a go its smart)

Whether or not the LOI undervalues itself is irrelevant here, you can only judge value for money against what you competitors are offering with the same or very similar product. An all Ireland Final is a showpiece game and ticket are like gold dust most years its very different for a LOI first division games in Mounthawk park

I would value the East Terrace standing at €10 per game. Seating at €15 per game. €150 season ticket for East Terrace standing and €225 season ticket for seating would have been a fairer price.
Some clubs have membership where members get season tickets at a reduced price. Something that should be given consideration going forward.

Particularly when between the Kerry U20s, Dynamos and now Kerry FC, the aspiration of fielding a senior First Division from the county has been discussed on and off for the last 20 years, so all the planning and marketing needed to be meticulous right from the beginning, as there'll be no local grouping waiting to pick up the pieces in a worst-case scenario.

Sean kennedy announced today = (14) Kerry Football Club on Twitter: "WELCOME HOME SEAN KENNEDY! The former Sunderland and @CorkCityFC winger will take to the Mounthawk Park pitch in the green of Kerry for the 2023 @LeagueofIreland First Division season https://t.co/4TaljtpQfp" / Twitter

Given what he's wearing there, the club still don't seem to have their kit or merchandise back yet. None of the usual 'player in shirt holding club scarf above his head' thing.

See current status of club shop website:

    https://www.kerryfc-shop.com

They did say today's signing would only be the first announcement of the week, so perhaps it'll finally be ready before Friday.

That is a great Coup for Kerry FC.

Sean Kennedy - Cork City + Sunderland
    Matt Keane - Treaty Utd
    Sean Mgrath - Cobh Ramblers

If they can add another 6-7 lads with LOI experience, mixed with their best U19's from last year, you would have to imagine that being competitive is going to become more realistic.

There are more around Kerry with LOI experience - Does anyone know who else they have in their pre season training right now?
