Title number 19 obviously stings a fair bit. as happy as I was this makes it a little better which I wouldn't have thought possible. Cheers
Danny was great last night, Dawson will look well in the hoops next season too

Why would I be bitter about the Shams having a humiliatingly low crowd at their title celebration party game?

    Keep it up please.
    Only 7000 saluting title 19 , I'm mortified.
    How's the bee keeping going?

    Jaysus - that's a pathetic post tbh.

I'm surprised he can type through the tears. 30 points behind a side playing such poor football.

The Shams fans voted with their feet. Embarrassingly low crowd, although you seem happy with such a poor turnout.

You're aware there's a pandemic on which has many people wary of large crowds, yeah?

For the biggest ground in the country to be nearly 90% full - that is to say, a crowd no other club in the league could accommodate - in pandemic times against a side with probably minimal away support is quite decent. If they've used the event to promote the club further, then fair dues. It's better promotion than the virtue signalling Justice Warrior nonsense Bohs have been coming up with lately.

You're really not doing yourself any favours here

So there's a huge swathe of Shams fans who were too terrified of the pandemic to go to the game?

Is this what you are actually saying?

There certainly will be some. I'm not entirely sure why you'd have a problem with people valuing their health in a pandemic on a night when it was ****ing rain.

But mainly I'm just saying your post is pathetic. Club gets double their average crowd to see league won SHOCKER!

So surely you must be outraged at Shams FC giving about 1,000 schoolchildren free tickets during a pandemic? Meanwhile their own supporters apparently stayed at home for health reasons.

Why would I be outraged? It's people's own choice whether to go to an event or not. But I could well understand elderly fans or fans with health issues wanting to avoid large crowds.

I think all bees should be vaccinated myself, personally.

Leaving that eejit aside there are quite a number of older members not coming to matches yet. We lost a good few during the last two years hopefully by Feb 11th next year things have changed but its getting harder to see the ending.

3,400 attendance at the Brandywell. Pretty good considering that 1,200 extra tickets were only released a couple of days before the game as we're now finally back to full capacity.

Nice! You're gonna need that new stand extended asap. Any word on Phase 2 funding?

Still waiting for the council to get the funding.

Philip o Doherty is building an academy in the city for the all the age groups. He's bought a huge amount of land for it.
