The Tottenham keeper (Vicario?) had played a lot more senior football by Kelleher's age. The Dutch keeper is a real outlier though, he got injured after the world cup so he's 29 now and still hasn't played a full season as a first choice keeper! Maybe that will be the career path for Kelleher too, but it won't get him the Ireland jersey with Bazunu for competition.

Vicario, yeah, sorry.
He had played more games but at a low level. Four Serie A games by Kelleher's age. The rest in B/C/D. It's not a direct comparison but it's worth including. (Is Serie C even full-time?) There was a couple of others too. They're rare but they do happen.
This is the difference - Bazunu went on loan to Rochdale - then Portsmouth - and then realised that he needed first team football. It is unfortunate that he ended up in a team in dire straights just when he joined (and I thought it was a good move for him at the time).
Kelleher on the other hand has been averaging six games a season for the last five years - and he doesn't play in the reserves either. From what I can see he played one game last season. You need to be playing - and if Kelleher wants to improve (and he still has the potential to do that) he will need to join a team where he starts every game.
Positioning was a bit suspect for the third, no? Thought he took a step or two beyond the near post for the cross. Would need to see it again.
Laurence McKenna's verdict at around 7 minutes. Realistic and interesting from an intelligent analyst and Liverpool podcaster.

Vicario (current Spurs keeper) is 27.
Last season he played 31 games for Empoli (26), the previous 2 seasons he played 38 games over the seasons on loan at Empoli (25/24), year before that he played 37 games for Perugia (23), and on and on back to when he was 19 playing 30 games for Fontanafredda. He has played 229 senior league games so far. 223 more than Kelleher.
I don't think he can be included.
Already covered in post #1382
Really comfortable night for him this evening, made 1 decent save in the first half and didn't have much else to do, distribution good as well for the most part .....

Yep - and an early one at that; 11 minutes in I think. First real action since the Fulham game and he was up to it
Only shot on target he faced all night though
Really liked the claim he made from the throw that followed his safe. Came out and was big and strong and caught well, a ball that many keepers would have punched. Excellent hands
Relax lads, it was against basically a pub league team
From a tiny sample, yep.
You know how statistics (in general) work Stutts...
