Fair play to John O'Shaughnessy 'a man who has got alot of stick from LFC fans on this site' on his latest article on the Blues in this weeks Leader. His enthusiasm for the new developments up in Rathbane is very refreshing. I like his variation from just a mundane match report. Quoting former players etc and praising club inititiatives. in fairness to him and i know i have been a big thorn in his side he gets most of his information from a tit of a friend of his. Under the previous admin, this tit advised them that Jackman was the be all and end all! He took up most of his infor from him and i noted that JOS was on his own for the most of the night the other night. The SC were always against going into Jackman (for ground structural reasons) Still the leader tonight is again shocking. Rugby season is at its last faint breath and yet pages are being devoted to it. Senior GAA games are 3 weeks away yet pages to that. Limerick soccer is now and only a few stuck in paragraphs. says it all really

Don't buy that paper then, the Examiner gives us more exposure, says it all really, people should realise that the Limerick Leader is only interested in Gaa mainly, it has always been the case, its the bigots who run this rag who should be ousted. Sporting Limerick my a*$*.

All I'll say about John O'Shaughnessy is thank god that he is retiring in October, the Limerick Leader then might finally get a sports editor that actually knows something about sport. And, if I am to believe it, its a running joke with the other sports journalists.
