    Directions to Rathbane

Hi, I'm from Cork but studying (in the loosest sense of the word) in UL and as exams are starting in the next month I'll be staying up at the weekends and hope to go to a few Limerick games, and I'm looking for directions to Hogan Park. Is there a bus there, or must I walk through all the nice areas?

Basically, if coming from UL you have to go right across town. Get the bus in to town. I'm not sure what buses serve the Rathbane area as i've never taken them. Someone else here might know. You could get the Raheen bus outside Brown Thomas, get off the Raheen bus at Punches Cross (You'll see Punches pub, Bus stop is outside a Statoil station\Car dealership\4 Star Pizza) and from there walk to Rathbane, about a 15 minute walk.

If I were you I'd get the bus in to town and take a taxi from there. I'm sure someone at the game will give you a lift back in to town afterwards.

Not too sure about the the bus routes around the city but surely theres one that services Roxboro Shopping Centre, if so that would be the quickest option, theres usually a crowd that congregate around the shop beside Paddy Powers around 7pm before the game anyway.

If you make it to town , Get the bus in William Street , outside Limericks sports store. The Rathbane bus is No.3 ,I think. The conductor will look after you for the nearest stop to the ground..

The 303 bus from outside sports 2000 runs on the hour and the half hour and will drop you off at Janesboro school about two minutes walk from the ground. I'd suggest giving yourself plenty of time tho as the bus runs to a pretty loose schedule most evenings

'Tis. But I don't think there is access from that side.
