Moved to eircom league section, hoping for a better response
Been on a mission recently. Have done the League Cup, Shield and PFAI pages as well as all things Pats related. Updated the League/FAI Cup pages (made them more user friendly and put more info in them). have started a 2006 in LOI football page too (linked in the template on every club page)
Still loads of rubbishy club pages though. Willing to help anybody who needs/wants it...

Ive added a link to the bohs page here on the bohs page on wiki
will do more when I have time
Made a couple of small changes Wiki thing not a bad idea
The cork city slot on wiki says that the club was formed shortly after the demise of Cork Hibernians. That is incorrect . It was formed after Cork United although hibs were the last to play at flower lodge prior to city forming and Urtd played at the cross. City were originally based in flower lodge. How can we change this on the site. I am not very technical and didn't want to go messing with anyone elses info
Cheers
Bring back the plank
Editing the pages only requires clicking on the Edit this page on the top of the article, then add, delete or edit what ever you want.
The thing about wiki is that every article on the site can be edited by anyone who feels he or she can improve it by adding, deleting or just by adjusting the format .
So feel free to make adjustments to any article that takes your interest. Anyone who takes offence shouldn't be using the wiki site in the first place and should go else where. There is an edit help link beneath the box conatining the article in the edit this page if you do get into any diffculty
Should like to remind the admin on the wiki page that Waterford FC & Waterford U are the same clubs and so should be given credit for the 6 League Championship wins.
There's no point in posting that here Partizan. For a start there's no "admin" per se, anyone can edit; and none of the editors might be Foot.ie fans. If you don't want to edit yourself, I'd suggest adding a note to the relevant Discussion page.
This is a really good idea.
Smart websites and easy information, give the league more Credibility.
I've added quite a bit regarding the new FAI National League.
Dundalk page is updated with the recent happenings. See Dundalk FC
" Fail to prepare , then prepare to fail."
Gary Dicker's page has recently been updated:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Dicker
I've done quite a bit of work on the Derry City page as well.
There's also an articles-for-deletion debate going on regarding Eloka Asokuh and a number other players related to Finn Harps. The nominater is under the belief that First Division players are not worthy of articles. The result of the debate may have a bearing on the chances of survival of articles based on other First Division players so adding a word of support might be helpful to the cause if you want to get as much information on the league as possible in there.
Excellent article. Over time, the IAG related stuff should move to an article of its own. By the way I've resisted the temptaion to edit
removing the words promotion/relegation!'Despite the fact that Dundalk FC had won the promotion/relegation play-off in November 2006'
Does anyone know what the case would be regarding the transfer of European qualification slots if the league winners (who would qualify for the Champions League as a result) were also to win the FAI Cup? Would the UEFA Cup spot up for grabs in the cup be transferred to the loser or would it somehow be tranferred to a team next in line in the league standings? Logic tells me the former, but you never know with the FAI.
