I didn't think people had such an interest in opposition clubs.

Really? Isnt part of following football about watching opposition and what they might do against a favoured side? Like Rovers fans didnt have interest about Bohs finances in the not too distant past?

Jesus wept, the obsession with Rovers on here has gone way, way past normal footballing rivalry. You're all stone mad. Have a read back over the last 4 or 5 pages and then give your heads a wobble, Rovers fans included.

Maybe its just me that dosen't care what opposition managers say to the media so. They all say the same sh*te anyway. I don't think bradley has done bad or good enough to deserve this much attention after 5 games either but each to their own.

I actually agree with this. Silly season has started and it's only March. What will we discuss in the off-season??

Nope i posted stats showing that after the first round of fixtures rovers results improved considerably last year

Are these the stats you are referring to?

If they are correct you are praising Bradley with achieving a "marked improvement" on what was a fairly dire start - it's almost as if he was not in charge for the opening series at all!

1.18 points average points per match - Series 1
2.00 points average points per match - Series 2
1.73 points average points per match - Series 3

How do you account for the dis-improvement in Series 3?

Nowhere near what is required to compete for a top two place

Series 3 is 1 result difference. And is 2.0 not something like 0.09 points off roughly whats needed for second, thats anything but "nowhere near"

Ye were nowhere near a 2.0 average. That was one series of games, which at ye're best wasn't good enough to match the average needed for 2nd, and ye didn't come close to sustaining it in the third series. 1.73 is nowhere near second, and that's far closer to a real reflection of last year than 2.0

As you know Rovers finished 22 points off the league winners and averaged 1.64 points per match in 2017

Even the Series 2 points replicated over the rest of the season, would not have been enough to get 2nd place.

The drop off in Series 3 back to 1.73 point average indicates that Bradley's team were unable to sustain the promising results of Series 2, never mind build on them as implied

Wow, that was some debate lads some great points and a proper discussion. I agree that Bradser can be naive at times with his tactics and there is a mismatch between fans being really ****ed off with previous managers when gathering similar/better points totals to the the current manager. This is simply down to the fact that this team look like they give a **** along with the manager.

The tragic thing( on your part), is that you probably do discuss all things Rovers in your off season.

Colin Healy appointed Head of Academy

With the national underage leagues set to get underway this weekend, Cork City FC are delighted to announce their new academy structure and management for the coming season.
Former City player and ex-Republic of Ireland international Colin Healy has taken on the role of Head of Academy, while he will also be Head Coach of the club’s Under 19 team.
Speaking to CorkCityFC.ie, General Manager Paul Wycherley said: “Over the close season, there were a number of discussions about the best set-up for our underage teams and we took the decision to put an academy structure in place. John Caulfield, Pat Lyons, as Chair of The Board, together with the rest of the board were key to this. The appointment of Colin, and the academy structure is a hugely important development for the long-term future of the club. ”

They can call it want they want, it consists of an U15 team, an U17 team and an U19 team. At least presently. Nothing beyond or outside those three sides.

I like my clubs manager. I do not like managers of other clubs as much. This is based on unbiased clear thinking rather than happenstance at any given time.
