First goal for him since his last goal! Home to Cardiff... good to see him get the start and an early goal.

The home side take the lead inside 10 minutes with a strike from Michael O'Bafemi.

Zian Flemming plays the Irishman through behind the Bluebirds backline before he smashes it in at the near post for 1-0.

Basically saying that Obafemi was not fit enough ~ Certainly not fit enough to play the way Harris wants him to play ~ Have we heard that before ?

Typical new manager talk, lads aren't fit enough because last manager was crap I've made them fitter. Class player who is in a sprinters body. Sprinters do not train to run all day so very difficult if not impossible for obafemi to play like that without creating injuries for himself by doing far too much mileage weekly.

I think that Obafemi has a body type that requires more effort to keep it in shape than other lads and perhaps, and maybe he sometimes doesn't have the drive to do that and needs a particular push. Whatever the reason, I hope he can build on this, because at his best he is a terrific weapon to have in our line-up

Hahahaaaaa, fantastic. Show me a sprint start line up with an array of adorable chubby cheeks, love handles and slight guts there liamoo. Show us all.

I've always struggled to work out where Obafemi's level will eventually be. Premier League pace, Premier League ability to take a chance in front of goal, but constant fitness and injury issues and questionable attitude reports from multiple managers. I'm thinking probably Championship stalwart (injuries permitting) at this point, we may see him at the top level again but probably not consistently throughout his career.

He just doesn't quite seem to have the drive to make it at a higher level. If he falls below Championship with his natural ability then he'll have really underachieved.

Left out of the Millwall squad entirely (don't think he was injured) for his return to Swansea, the only club he's really performed for. An unused sub last week. 2 goals in 14 games for Millwall isn't a great return. He's 24 in July and you wonder where he's going to be next season. Only on loan at Millwall of course, Burnley don't seem to want him (even if they are relegated). League One a distinct possibility?

Amazing how far he's fallen since that purple patch two years ago.

I'm still surprised that Burnley bothered signing him at all. Seems they were committed to it as part of the conditions of the loan deal, but he hasn't done anything of note for them. Sadly could see both him and Connolly falling away into the lower leagues if they don't sort themselves out soon. They're both capable of so much more than that but they're running out of road as they move into their mid 20s now.

Yep - doesn't seem like they really had any plan behind it. They were flying as it was, never gave him a proper run in the team (and possibly he never earned it in training), but even in the last few months of his Swansea career he had a questionable attitude and a poor record in front of goal. Strange one, but that's football I guess. The Millwall loan feels almost close to last chance saloon in terms of proving he has a career at the top. Really other than the exceptional three months at Swansea when he couldn't stop scoring, he's done nothing of note at all to justify anyone in the top two tiers being interested.

He is constantly injured so hard to know who might be interested. On a similar trajectory to Aaron Connolly sadly.

Millwall manager was asked about a couple of players that didn't feature recently. Included the bits that mention Obafemi' specifically.

"Michael has done brilliantly for us on loan and we're really thankful for his efforts. He didn't feature for us off the bench the other day and he wasn't going to feature today. I'd rather play our own players who have trained impeccably.

When asked to clarify if Obafemi's absence was also related to ill discipline, Harris added: "Michael was based around discipline but also around that we're not going to look to sign him in the transfer window, so no need to include him."

"Michael did brilliantly for us. So well in fact that we have absolutely no interest whatsoever in bringing him back here next season".

It's already been said but the thing with Obafemi is that if he knuckles down in pre season he could absolutely challenge for a first team place at Burnley next year. But sadly the more likely outcome is that he won't and will find himself looking for first team football again elsewhere at some point next season.

    He's a breast

Talent is only useful with the right attitude.

He looks to be another wasted talent unfortunately.

He might grow up but I'm losing hope

Not great in the league, but alright in a cup, maybe? Milwall certainly seem to be saying so long and thanks for all the mammaries. It could explain the cleavage between his supporters and detractors.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!
