Not sure I'd go that far.
Defensively we were superb, Duffy in particular. We had their number at the back and Wales ran out of ideas long before the final whistle.
I didn't think we looked like scoring at all until we did, but then Wales never looked like getting back into it.
I think the story of this campaign is that we got the playoff on the road, and blew the chance to win the group at Lansdowne Road.

Was tongue in cheek. From a footballing point of view we were atrocious. Most people won't care though. Even the RTÉ panel backtracking furiously. Turns out Eamonns footballing principles aren't so pure after all.
