In our defensive foursome,
He's absolutely awesome,
From corners he will score some,
His name is Dan Murray !!
Good stuff Danny Boy !!
City for the league
You heard it here first !!
Well done Dan. Hope the club tie up Billy as well. See here

After the scare at breakfast time over Billy, this is indeed very good news.
Looking forward to seeing more from Dan this season, particularly as he finished the last with such style. Roll on March 20th.

in fact most of this board have been saying it a year before spillage
It is good news that Dan Murray has signed a new contract and it would be good news if Coughlan resigned but i am still awaiting a BIG signing.
I know Roy O'Brien played a game for the club a few tears back and he was impressive would like to see him sign. Think he signed a new contract with some conference club recently tho.
First Division Champions
O'brien is at yeovil, who were a conference side, but are now top of division 3/league 2. doubt he'll be going anywhere.
You may be sure that Dolan and Lennox will watch the club's outgoings carefully. I reckon, in order to keep the wage bill from going crazy, that the only new signings will be of relatively obscure names who have potential, like Kearney when he joined City, having been turned down by Bohs after a week's trial there. What a bad mistake!Originally Posted by kevincronin2000

I think Murray got too much slagging last year. Good to see him signing new contract as hes still only 22 & good bit of euro experience behind him now.
I think Dan didn't do himself any favours by spending so much time in nightclubs around the City. He should have known better .... having said that, there is no way we could/should lose him.
Would love to see some competition for his place cos Dan, when he came first was an unreal player.

Dan is a very good centre half. he had a rough patch last season, and I don't think he looked unfit at times, like he was carrying a bit of weight. on form he's one of the best in the league, and he would have beena big loss.
