Carey bides his time
Waterford United defender Alan Carey, whose contract at the RSC expired at the end of the 2004 season, insists he will bide his time before settling on his future, although the Suirside club remain favourites to snap up the versatile former Cork City man for another season.
Carey joined the Blues from Cork before the start of the 2004 campaign, and played his part in a successful season for Alan Reynolds’s men, which saw them reach the FAI Carlsberg Cup final and take fifth place in the final Premier Division table.
