First impression on that new Pats top, it's looks like a training kit. I'm sure it looks better in them flesh, prob not the best of photos.
Might be cooler if they went with white shorts and white socks?
Very like a Shels jersey. Wouldn't be impressed if I were a Pats fan. White sleeves on their shirts are a tradition at this stage. It looks cheap as well.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

I dont know if anyone has ever seen Pats kit of twenty yrs ago but up to that period their jerseys were prominently red and not a patch for what pats fans are used to since that period! I am sure the likes of Dodge will vouch this!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Was it Pats or Shel's that had the full red jersey with white speckles on it? I think it was from around 94/95 season. It was like the Liverpool jersey when they were sponsored by Candy.

Yeah pats had all red in the late 80s anyway with adidas. Moved to oneills and there was red with white sleeves and also white with red sleeves worn at home quite often.
Any pats fans know if they wore blue and white in the 60s my granny used to swear they did and even remembers making bunting in blue and white!
It was Shelbourne with the mad speckled kit
Walking around Dundalk and every second person is wearing Dundalk kit.
I think I'll get myself a Man Utd top to stand out from the crowd.
That made me laugh! Although to go with traditional trends Leicester shirts might be the odd one in the mix rather than Man United..
1,300 sold I heard. Seems a very high figure but considering the effort they put into the launch and pre Xmas timing, and reducing the kids pricing from the very expensive €50 to €45 was a good move, so maybe it's not so hard to believe.
Haven't seen one in the flesh myself but I heard the quality is top class.

If Dundalk have sold 1,300 kits over Christmas that must surely be a League of Ireland record? That's incredible for a club here. There's not too many Premier League clubs selling that many jerseys in Ireland over Christmas.

The highly anticipated away jersey will be on sale just before the start of the season too. So the timing of making one shirt available for christmas and the other prior to the season start has worked well it seems. Quality is as good as ive seen with any replica shirt, no iron on sponsor or crest and the material isnt so fine that its practicaly see through. It was very evident round town today that sales of the CX+ stuff were excellent regardless of actual figures quoted.
Although the 1,300 figure is not yet confirmed, at the kit launch it was mentioned that 2k tops would be made for sale. I think a big factor in the take up is the huge local factors. From Horseware to Fyffes even the two sponsors on the back, Total Produce and DKIT, all local based companies / college, the latter are also on the back of the Drogs top.

Hmmm we did at one point have a local cab company and pub at one time - rare shirts now! A combination of things in a bit of a perfect storm have come together for Dundalk that have lifted kit and season ticket sales. The more the demand the more demand grows. The fact that demand wasnt met previous years with the away shirt and European match tickets has people getting in quick for new jerseys and season tickets. Couple of trophies here and there too helped.
Sligo going with Joma. Good choice and they do a really decent range of leisurewear too.
Drogheda are stealing Dundalks thunder.

Delighted that CX Sports and Drogheda have done a deal. The more the merrier!
A bit of a Celtic/Rangers dealio.
Who's the scum then? And who's Rangers

Good move by Horseware, you might not be far off Gufc, as both clubs also have the same smaller sponsor on the back, DKIT
