Another lost opportunity for the FAI to promote the league again!

Both Limerick Live 95FM & Highland Radio Donegal stations have live coverage of tonites game between Limerick v Finn Harps.

Should attract big Radio audiences for both stations from outside interest alone, when you see the posts about the lack of TV coverage on alot of forums.

Nice venue, good weather forecast for tonite, big potential crowd, has all the makings of great entertainment.

There will be no more than a handful of people (outside of the clubs involved) listening to Harps v Limerick on the radio. Any Spurs v Villa would have killed off any hope of passing viewers on the TV

I'd have watched the play off, but let's not kid ourselves that this game being on TV would have had any impact on more than the hardcore outside of the areas involved

I don't see it being of incredibly high standard. After all, we're a first division side and Limerick just scrapped themselves off the bottom of the league on the last day of the season.

In saying that, there should be a great atmosphere and big crowd which would look great on TV.

As Dodge says though, I doubt if it would have drawn a massive audience.

The cup final tickets fiasco is more damaging to the league chances of growth. Days before cup final and only 2 blocks on sale. Couldn't write it
