Look at the team who were champions 3 years ago......

Fair point - it could be worse (Hopefully we won't fall that far next year.) Dundalk be warned

Actually, it's one of the best things about this league, the good times get shared around a bit more than in other leagues. It's of limited consolation when you're the one slipping down the table though.

Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Just to update on this, Derry Journal reporting that he eventually went home on the team bus with the rest of them - it was something related to his case of shingles, but not a heart attack or a punctured lung as first rumoured/reported.

It was scary watching it at the time, as he was absolutely motionless and there was concern with both physios on and people running round looking for the doctor.

Apparently shouldn't have even been playing in the first place. Awfully stupid of the Derry coaching staff and medical team to let him play with the risk of such a thing happening.

If he had shingles he shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near the opposition players. Bizarre.

3 points for us on appeal?

Pretty sure Freddy Hall had developed a case of shingles by the time the goals went in.

    Bottom 6 final games:

    Derry: Lim (L), Bohs (D), Longford (D) - 1 point
    Bray: Sham R (L), Galway (W), Dundalk (L) - 3 pts
    Galway: Bray (L), Pat's (L) - 0 pts
    Sligo: Bohs (D), Pats (L), Lim (L) - 1 pt
    Drogheda: Longford (D), Sham R (L) - 1 pt
    Limerick: Derry (W), Sham R (D), Sligo (W) - 7 pts

    That'd finish:

    Derry - 34 pts
    Bray - 34 pts
    Limerick - 33 pts
    Galway - 30 pts
    Sligo - 29 pts
    Drogheda - 29 pts
Don't give up the day job (that ones for you Charlie D)
