Thanks to all that have signed the petition but its a sad testament that at the time of writing this there has been 238 views here and there have been 243 signatures on the petition.
Please please please sign the petition it is going to take you less than a minute to sign it.
Yes we are a small fan base but we have seen this type of thing go on for years to too many clubs don't just do it for Bray fans do it for footy fans all we want is the truth.

With all due respect, it's an internet petition - and a fairly vague one at that.

It'll have no impact - no-one takes internet petitions seriously. So what's the point?

And with that response therein lies the problem. It could be said that the vast majority of the country does not take League of Ireland football seriously. So what's the point of the league?

All people want is honesty and to know what the hell is going on with the club and what the future holds. The club is a laughing stock which in turn is making the league into a laughing stock.

I can almost guarantee that in a few years time it will most likely be a similar story with another club in the league rinse and repeat. Has the league had anymore than 3 straight years without at least one major balls up?

Do you know what will do absolutely nothing at all about any of that?

    An internet petition.

A petition is only slightly more than nothing. I've signed it, but an online petition is going to have as much impact as a fart in the wind.

I personally think the only chance Bray have of survival is to run O'Connor out of the club Complelty and for good, he can agree to all the meetings he wants with fans he's just going to fob you off, he's Soccer Republic interviews were total comedy shows.

Most people don't care about the league, so console yourself with the fact that 99% of the population aren't even aware of how badly run a club the are.

So what's the point of the league?
To provide enjoyment for those who do care, and to provide the highest level of professional football Ireland can produce. The country gets the league it deserves

Trying something is better than trying nothing. In truth not enough people care about the League of Ireland to make a real difference but the ones who do really should band together in situations like this to support each other, god knows its hard enough when you on your own !

Nobody knows what is happening at the club and from the outside it looks like it is being run into the ground on purpose. We've heard numerous stories about this and that which has led to the current supporter and general public unhappiness in the town. We've been in touch with all the local Councillors and they want to help us get to the bottom of what is happening so with their support the club may just sit down and talk if there is enough pressure put on them...

We have a massive list of questions that will be put forward to them if they agree to meet and talk to us, if they don't then it will heap even more pressure on them as to what the real reason behind them being involved with Bray Wanderers is.

    P.S.
Thanks to anyone who bothered to sign it, its very much appreciated !

    Genuine questions here Roo -

    Who's "We"?

Have ye (whoever ye are) asked for a meeting in the normal way (i.e. ask whoever rather than demand one via a petition)?

We will demand nothing, we will very ask them to meet us us, it is their decision after that. If they say yes then great, if they say no then they say no. We are 2 people at present, we are not members of the supporters club or do we have any official affiliation with the club, i used to though. I was involved for 15 years with the club and once worked on a full time basis for the club. What we are trying to do is look for support before we approach these guys.

We are not in this to try cause trouble or problems, we are genuine supporters that are looking for answers and to try bring a bit or harmony back to the club.

A petition does come across as demanding, even if it isn't meant that way though.

So two people want to talk to the Chairman. (Which isn't what the petition says - it says "We, the people of Bray, Supporters and well wishers of our Bray Wanderers Football Club[...]hereby ask that Denis O'Connor meet with us". Seems a bit of a misrepresentation there?

Have ye asked directly if they can talk? LoI clubs are small - why do two people need to get an internet petition or support from people you don't know just to talk to someone in the club?

Not trying to be smart here - just don't get the need for this (but then, you could say that about a lot of what's happened at Bray, of course)

The more splintered the opposition the easier it is for the current board to drive an agenda

Bray Peoples Popular Front, Peoples Popular Front of Bray etc

Does a supporters clubs exist? Is it active? Has there been any meeting with the chairman?

A petition shows that you have support and as i have already stated, we want to show the Chairman that we have the support of the town to try find out what has been happening and to try get the club moving back in the right direction. I honestly can't see what we are doing is in any way wrong or offensive, but each to there own.

We are in constant contact with the supporters club and the towns Councillors, once we are satisfied we have done all we can we will then come together and try talk.

An internet petition doesn't show you have the support of the town.

Why not come together in the first place?
