They're sound lads out there, the people at FC Vaduz I'll say that much. Or those that were there in 2004 were anyway. Shame we made a balls of it on the field mind you. Moving swiftly along..
Steady on there. No doubt they've improved over the years and have some ok results when it comes to the EL qualifying rounds but they've been knocked out in the 1st and 2nd qualifying rounds the last 2 years. I'd hardly say that means they'd "beat most if not all" LOI teams.

Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
What do you mean unproved because of playing in the Swiss League? They've always played there
I'll say again though, they're of no relevance to the standard of LOI teams
Sorry meant top division. Swiss football is in top ten at moment, or there abouts
Have you not followed the thread, thats where we are at the moment!

This is only their second ever season in the top flight. They got relegated the only other time - six years ago - and are second last now. They can't have improved that much.
The Swiss league ranking is largely due to FC Basel, who are way ahead of the rest of that league.
The Liechtenstein coefficient would be a lot lower if - like us - they had their lower teams counting for points.
There are lots of reasons why it makes no sense to compare or worry about the two coefficients.

I'm not worried, just to to reply to some that think Vaduz would be an easy pushover when I dont think they would, and if you want to go back to some recent evidence look at Longford.
FC Zurich and Young Boys are doing relatively decent in Europe this season tbf. Last season Basel just about won the league.
The point is that LOI teams shouldn't be pointing their noses down at any teams in Europe, the LOI isnt a great league. And I am a LOI fan!
Vaduz wouldn't be a pushover alright. I don't doubt that. If nothing else, they're not really a reflection of Liechtenstein football as they can sign anyone anyway.
FCB have won five leagues in a row now and are the ones mainly racking up coefficient points (like this season for example). I know there's some other solid teams, but I don't think it really reflects on vaduz that the league they play in is 11th in Europe.
Nope, Basel have more points - they got bonus points for getting byes effectively

Wait - that's the same website. How's it disagreeing?
Edit - Ah, team coefficients don't include anything for qualifying rounds of course.
