It is true he on his way.
Let's get it going for this year the away support.
Yup..just had it confirmed there he's gone.
I'll be sad to see him go as he is a ledgend but he's brought the team as far as he could bring them and no further.
It was time for a change sadly.
Rams for promotion next season!!
u should be lucky to get rid of him
maybe ye will see the disappearance of the discipline problem now
Definetly a sad day for cobh he loved that club and did his best for it ,players will also miss him he was well liked by them
Rambler16 as I have said before you dont have a clue I read on a previous post you wanted him out now you say he was a legend dont be 2 faced about it.
Ramblers wont win promotion next year or the year after the powers at be want to go back to MSL.Changing the Manager will not change the fact that Cobh Ramblers is a disaster from the board down and unfortunatly Dave Hill tried to bring a profesional attitude to the Club but after 3 years he called it a day because unfortunatly not everyone wanted to chage.
As for the Corner the disipline problem is down more to youth and inexperience Dave Hill going wont make the disipline problem go away.I dont belive we are lucky it is the worst thing that could have happened.

Ramblers are you ****in stupid??
yes i said in the post he was a legend but i also said it was time for him to go!!!!
How does 3 seasons of mediocrity make you a legend??
I don't care what anybody says, Hill has done a good job. Hill leaving isn't going to solve any problems, just cause more. The CLUB requires stability and leadership. And O'Sullivan as chairman only has his own ideas and doesn't appear to listen to the fans.
As disappointed as I am in the Results we only need to look back 4 seasons and look how far we have come.
I hope for the clubs sake they look for Hill to reconsider at least to the end of season and look at the state of play then.
Sad day is right, the wrong people seem to be leaving... typical
Hill resigns from Ramblers
Dave Hill has resigned as player-manager of first division side Cobh Ramblers.
Hill quit earlier today after feeling he had taken the side as far as he could. The team were knocked out of the FAI Cup on Friday evening by Athlone Town.
It has been reported that officials from Ramblers are to meet this evening to discuss possible successors.
