Is McGinty still with the FAI then or did he decide to switch to the FA?

Best of luck to him. He has stuck with us from a very young age even though the brits wanted him. Was treated very poorly by doolin last season and has been ignored this season again for the under 19s very poor management
Really hope Doolin calls him up for the qualifiers. He is our only defender playing first team football at under 19 level

Biased as it seems, there's players sitting at Harps u-19s who are of unbelievable quality definitely worthy of a place in the squad. I don't see why the English based players should automatically get their places ahead of home based players in these squads.

Dislocated his shoulder yesterday against Hereford
Banned from driving for 18 months after being caught driving the wrong way down a one-way street at twice the drink driving limit: http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereven...nk-drive-shame
From the article: "Distraught from his disgraceful treatment at the hands of Ireland U19 manager Paul Doolin, McGinty was caught driving the wrong way down a one-way street..."
From the article: "The Irish defender..."
Is he still Irish?
Im more impressed than ever. Driving with a dislocated shoulder is truely impressive.
Somehow I'm not inclined to believe his defence.
End Apartheid Now! One Team in Ireland!
At the risk of taking the thread further off-topic (), I once witnessed a pair of thieves trying to hack a lock off a bike down a Deansgate alley, but it's a reasonably busy city-centre area with up-scale bars and clubs. Never heard it was a paradise for car thieves.
McGinty was essentially sacked by United last month after failing to turn up for training during his Tranmere loan spell, now with Sheffield United. Some discipline problems clearly.

Yes he looks a bit head strong. Reminds me of a young Charlie Darwin before he settled down.
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
I hope he turns out like Mark Connolly i.e. there has been an initial outlay on a young prospect and his club given up on the player prematurely who subsequently turns into a fine player. David Weir is young and likely to be ambitious and was a quality centre half in his day.
