A couple of interesting stories popped to me over the weekend, I can vouch for one, the other I'm only going on a business partner.

Damien Richardson is among the forerunners for the Maltese job. He was down previously and impressed the head of one club who has now become the MFA President. He's up against some decent opposition but has a chance. An announcement is due early November about the job.

Liam Buckley has a very strong chance of the Lithuanian national job. He got a recommendation from a Lithuanian "businessman" who lives in Fingal and is on the shortlist. Apparently they want to get in a foreign coach and are going down the English language route. The guy who told me about this said that John Gregory is also in the mix.
