You have never seen such an attack from a manager before as it is unprofessional and destroys moral in a playing squad. Maybe he was considered an easy target when it was thought he might be leaving. it seems to me that he is being made the scrapegoat for the clubs present predicament.
Even from a purely business point of a view does it make sense to publically devalue a player you may be selling shortly?
