    League Cup Final Ticket Details

    Following a meeting with the FAI and Derry City FC at Abbotstown yesterday, the club have been advised that tickets for the EA Sports Cup Final against Derry City at Turner’s Cross (Saturday, September 24th, 6 pm) will go on sale early next week.

    Tickets will be priced at €15 for Adults and there will be a limited number of tickets for Under 16’s priced at €5.

    Stupid decision.

    They should have kept the prices at the normal 10euro.

    How does the logic of the League Cup final costing more than the FAI Cup final make sense! Will hit the crowd and no chance of a sell out now.

    The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    I suppose if they get about 5,000 in (and they should) they'll make the same money as a E10 ticket might have made, but a full house would always be nice.

    Nice of the FAI to expect the old aged pensioners to cough up the 15 notes also.
