2100 or so in Sligo? Main stand was more or less full (1850 per wiki), with not many standing on the terraces cos of the weather and another couple of hundred in the Jinks.

Looked around 400-500 in Jinks Avenue in second half when the rain started to get worse.

Not sure if its that many. I'm not there obviously, but its at least 50/50 from what I'm hearing. 1600+ travelling fans is fantastic though.

I'd have said easily, the overflow of Block M in the East Stand alone could fill the gap at the end of the Main Stand. The North end of the Main Stand rarely pushes that far down either.

and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

According to Extratime its over 2000. Can't imagine Shels all of a sudden got a 500+ boost in support.

Fair enough. I'm getting info from City fans who probably wouldn't be as good at judging attendances in Tolka.

Not dismissing it, by all accounts there could be 500+ neutrals there too to see the game. No matter anywho, a welcome financial boost for Shels I'd imagine.

Why would the 500+ have to be neutrals? I'd say about 1500-1600 for Cork would be right.

longford get say 200-300 town fans to every game, when we play someone in a big match and we get nearly 1k at the match that's hardly 700 neutrals

He seems to be struggling with the possibility that plenty of shells fans who had given up on going to matches after the last few seasons of crap they had to endure decided to have a day out in the sun(rain).

and when they get I assume 3/4k+ out in shells colours to the aviva I doubt they will be neutrals either.

For the record manys a time they have brought up on 150-200 fans to flancare, so their fan base ain't all that bad.

Someone on Shelsweb connected to the club said there was 1800 Shels and 1400 Cork there. How many does the Riverside hold, it was about two-thirds full. Great support from Cork it had to be said.
