Cardiff are looking to move out all their forward players other than Bellamy (McCormack to Leeds). So this might turn out to be a good move for Keogh. He came on for Wolves against Stoke and had a nightmare even though Wolves won the match. Confidence looked shot so this move might work for him.

cant see them wanting to ship chopra out, even though he is injured right now. id love to see him at a club where he was used as an out and out striker every week. i like him but i feel he may be one that just never gets the chance to progress as we all would like.

Really hope it works out for Keogh. Wolves fans are a notoriously fickle lot and when a player is having a bad game they certainly let them know. Think he will do well at Cardiff and will be a good foil for Bellamy.

On another note, Stephen McPhail made his comeback but only lasted 32 minutes. Don't know what happened but sounds like an injury.

I dunno, I've always liked Keogh, think he is excellent with the ball at his feet. However he cannot play out wide, it needs to be just off a sniper. Hopefully this works out. Bellamy could actually be a good foil for him.

    It's a good move.
ATM Keogh, looks to be far from match sharp for the EPl/Internationals, would not be of much use to Wolves and would not get to play the games he needs to play.

He was unlucky to get injured when he did as other injuries to Wolves players would have given him a good run in the EPL. A bit like Colin Doyle, he had his narrow window of opportunity and didn't take it.

Surely Doyle had his chance but blew it with poor form? Keogh has never really underperformed for Wolves, he's just been overtaken by better players bought for millions of pounds.

I think he can do a job on the right, but maybe not as a starting player. I think managers like the sort of player they can start up front and, if required, move out to the flanks if they need to bring on an additional attacking player.

Just saying that they both had chances but now it seems they've been consigned to starting again a league lower, for one reason or another.

Ah, OK. I was thrown off by the "didn't take it" bit.

Keogh had a very small window, came on as a sub in a game and was then subbed.

ATM, I would guess that Keogh already has proven (to some extent) his ability to Wolves. He is being shunted to Cardiff to get his sharpness back, in competitive games.
