Bohs make light of injury crisis to defeat Sligo
eircom League Premier Division side Bohemians made light of an extensive injury list to edge out First Division Sligo Rovers on a 1-0 scoreline in a pre-season friendly at Dalymount Park on Saturday night.
Stephen Kenny’s side, who finished runners-up behind Shelbourne in the league last season, were without several key players, including wingers Bobby Ryan, Dave Morrison and Fergal Harkin and defenders Jason McGuinness, Thomas Heary and Ken Oman, all of whom played major roles in the Bohs first XI last season.
