Cork City- approx 6000
Rovers-1600 anyone got their game ?
EL grounds are like good episodes of The Simpsons, no matter how many times you see them they're still funny
Cork City- approx 6000
Champions!
Bohs - UCD maybe 3500/4000. Certainly Jodi stand fuller than usual for our game, and people in the shed as well.
Allegedly 1,000 at The Showgrounds for Sligo - Limerick... I woulda guessed more 700ish.
The ball is round and has many surprises.
Premier Division (17,300): Turner's Cross (6,000), RSC (3,500), Dalymount Park (3,500), Brandywell (2,300), Richmond Park (2,000).
First Division (4,200): Oriel Park (1,100) , Showgrounds (1,000), Station Road (700), Carlisle Grounds (800), Buckley Park (300), St Mel's Park (300).
Children in the dark cause accidents.
Accidents in the dark cause children.
Yeah the 10 Limerick fans really pushed up the figures!Originally posted by sadloserkid

Are they the official figures? Premier division numbers look fairly accurate. 3500 average not bad. Then again numbers likely to drop next week when UCD & $hel$ at home...Originally posted by eamo

Hows about a combined effort to update here every week? Its not as if the clubs or the FAI will do it...
Those figures are as listed in the Indo today. They're estimates, but the UEFA licencing means that from next season, all clubs will be obliged to release attendance figures.
Cannot the players find some more friends & family to turn up?Originally posted by eamo
Buckley Park (300), St Mel's Park (300).
Would you wanna be friends with somebody who plays for Kilkenny Town????
Though I shouldn't really be throwing stones because I think we'll probably have even less on Friday against Bray...

That's the general idea Pete. The Bohs fans reckon 3500 is an over-estimate Stu as do I.Originally posted by pete

Dalymount must be opne of the easier grounds to guesstimate the attendance. If the Jodi stand ain't full then its less than 3000.Originally posted by TommyT

The problem is that people stand down the left hand side so there are more empty seats than there would be otherwise. It's also really difficult to know how many there are in the shed.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
Are we keeping tabs on this for the season?
About 1000 at Belfield for UCD-Cork, up from 650 last year and 250 for both games the previous season. Decent amount of UCD jerseys knocking around as well, so it seems we're finally going in the right direction...
They said between 3 - 400 on the radio, and majority were City fans.Originally posted by pineapple stu

That is a big difference to 1000.
No way was it 400 - the main stand was 2/3rds full (that's 600 ish), the Cascarino stand had maybe 100 and there were people lined most of the way around the fence as well, which would add up to a fair few.Originally posted by oddboy

Didn't see overly many Cork fans, certainly didn't hear them much...
Methinks the Iraqi Information Minister has taken control of you radio?
There was never a hundred in Cascarino/Chubby stand. Fifty at most.
At a guess I'd say there were 700 at the game.
Between 4000 and 4500 for Pats-Rovers. About 2800 for Shels-Derry

Might as well be the first to get the joke in.
