The theme of Monaghan United's participation in the FAI Festival of Football 2009 was "Focus on the Future" with Juvenile's, Under 20's and our Women's teams being heavily involved in the entertainment early in the week along with the FAI Summer Soccer School at Kingspan Century Park. The theme was further highlighted on Thursday evening with a series of events culminating in the launch of the new Monaghan United FC website by Italian Footballing giant and Republic of Ireland Assistant Manager Marco Tardelli.
