that would be great news. We're really showing major ambition right now, lets hope we can fulfill it.
This is in the Echo and Citynet forum. Good news if it is true.
God, this club is getting better by the minute!Fenn said that he was lured here by ' the passion of players like John'.!

dolan trying to get him tied down top a 3 year contract
great to get our best players tied down to long contracts
very close to becoming the envy of the reast of teams in el
Yeah, it's looking good alright. At the press conference yesterday Dolan said that Flynny wants to commit to Cork City and he is currently in talks with the club. Todays Echo mentions a three year contract.
If Flynny does sign, that along with Georgie's new contract and the signing of Fenn shows that we really mean business and that we are no longer content with being second best.
Champions!
Good news indeed. The thought of one of our best player nearing the end of his contract is disturbing...
Thats it exactly. We're really making our intentions known now. An important thing with tieing players down like that is that even if they do leave, you can look for good money.Originally posted by Colm

Can only be good news really. Glad that Flynny wants to stay and win things at the club.......
and from a purely financial point of view, great to have him on a longer term contract when a big club comes in for him, which i think is inevitable.
It says alot about John himself too. Great guy and clearly very loyal too.
I'm not sure if it a compliment or insult but nothing to stop O'Flynn from doing a Crowe.
Ah sure, this kind of sh1te is going to be surrounding Flynny all the time he's a City player. Other clubs are just jealous of us-WE'VE GOT FLYNNY!(na,na,na,na,na,etc.)
What the frikkin' hell is happening here like .... is it in the bag or what ??Originally posted by niamh

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
in a year or two Crowe will be looking up at him. He's capable of being a much better player than Crowe- he's not far off as it is IMOOriginally posted by pete
