    Some Good News

Sligo Rovers can confirm the signings of Shaun Holmes, Alan Keane and goalkeeper Ciaran Kelly.
The players have been training with the club recently, with Holmes and Keane playing in the 1-0 defeat to Dundalk in a pre-season friendly last weekend.
Holmes signs from Finn Haprs. A left-back, the former Derry City player has been capped for Northern Ireland U21's and senior team.
Keane joins from Galway United. A versatile defender, he provides much-needed options to Paul Cook in the back four.
Kelly is well known to Rovers fans having had a previous spell with the club. He will compete with Richard Brush for the number one spot.
Meanwhile, Paul McTiernan has re-signed following a brief spell back with the Bit o' Red last season. And in a further boost, Richie Ryan returned to action this week, the former Sunderland player suffered an injury in training but he may now be in contention for the opening game on the seaon against Cork City on March 7.

We got a few quid for taking your European spot and don't have to pay rent or examiner fees every year.
