Y'know that new CEO that was appointed at Dalymount Park last month?

Fella by the name of Jim Roddy

Well - he's gone and resigned today to take up a post with Derry City Council.

    It's never boring this League...

I didn't know freedom of movement was now prohibited?

Probably "in the national interest" as is the theme....

He's probably had just enough time to realise Bohs are even worse off than he thought they were initially. Derry City Council obviously offers more job security.

I heard its related to the pats betting scandal

I'd see that as a bad sign for Bohs. Either he's not being allowed the control he should be given by the Gerrys, or Bohs really are ****ed

You have to wonder how long it was after getting the Bohs position that he applied for the new job... there can't have been much of a gap there in all fairness.

No, it must have taken a good month or six weeks at least for a council job to be filled. He must have wanted out pretty quickly,

What players do they have on their books at the moment?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Makes you wonder what they told him to get him to take the job.

Well, he was worth the two months salary to persuade Nutsy to stay and win us back to back titles.
Best of luck to him in the Public Sector, a good place to be in the depths of a recession.

My own view is that Jim Roddy will be absolutely no loss to the League of Ireland. I only hope we never see him again.
Neale Fenn on retiring: 'I think once you finish you might as well finish rather than making all sorts of comebacks.'
