Hmm, he'd be an interesting one alright. He's a top class coach. Saw him there on Friday alright, I thought he'd be sticking with Pats though. Whoever gets it will be working on limited resources so if they do well they'll only enhance their reputation.

He left Pat's after the second leg against Berlin as he wanted to go back to work and therefore couldn't be a full-time coach. He definitely wants to get straight back into football.

I see, well he'd be a serious candidate if he does indeed want it. He was offered a shot at it last year when Alan left though and turned it down. Maybe he feels First Division would be less time consuming or something. Nice fella as well.

In all seriousness, I don't think we're going to see any great improvement on the level of player coming in. There's no money next year, as long as they keep trying that's all we can expect.

That depends on how far the implosion of wages goes. Our wages would be better than none. Alright, Paiso and Kirby are probably unlikely...

Strange, I'd heard that Vinny had already applied, maybe he changed his mind?. Apparently there are six applicants so far, don't know who they all are but Pat Dolan and Damien Richardson are the bookies' favourites, closely followed by Pat Fenlon (ahem..). The close season will be interesting as ever with LTFC.

Ah I think he was always in two minds about it, he'd like a shot at it but he's not sure. Expressions of interest are invited up until 1st December if I remember the update on the website correctly. I suppose there'll be a new manager by mid December as was the case last season. Whoever that will be I have no idea.
