dont know if there is a need to be leaving so early? I do this trip quite often and I'd imagine it shouldnt take much more than 2 hours to get up once your out of the city? Just saying, cause a later time might get more people going? I do the trip myself in about 1hr 45mins but i reckon i might travel faster than the bus !!!!!!

god terry you must never encounter the rush hour in dublin. you have to leave an hours leeway for crossing the M50 and all the possible delays after
    more water!

Given that Richmond is very accessible from Galway, we'll change bus departure time to 3.30pm. This might encourage some more
    supporters to make the journey.

The traffic is usually mainly outbound at that time of the evening from what I always see on the M4!

you also have to allow for the super bus driver factor. i went home on the bus once from richmond park - the drivers logic was to access the m50 via the airport exit north of ballymun and then drive south to access the M4!!!

you have me puzzled now? your on the bus home from richmond,ya? But we are talking about the bus heading to richmond park ! OR, are you just giving an example of mad bus drivers?

Heres one for ya! Our very first game up in station road against kildare, the bus driver said he new a shortcut that would dodge all the traffic home, 3 hours later we are eating and having a few pints outside Limerick city !!!!!!!!

. Our best one was after a game in Waterford, we told the driver to go through Kilkenny, think he mis-read a sign for Killarney...we came back through Fermoy, Mallow, Limerick, Galway etc. He was Eastern European so can be excused slightly.

My first away trip on a bus was coming back from Waterford on Good Friday 1997, the bus driver got lost on the way back and we ended up in Athy, we then ran out of petrol in Tullamore and one of the lads had to go into the Garda station to get someone in the town to open the pumps for us coz everywhere was closed!

Is there a bus coming at all?
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"
