Limerick under 20s Vs Wexford youths under 20s
Jackman park 2 o clock on Saturday. Admission €5 kids are free and the shop will be open for snacks and refreshments.
Limerick U-20's got hammered tonight below in cobh, Last I heard it was 6-0 or something equally big.
Not the 20s the A-leaguers. Which is a mixture of our 20s (who a handful of us watched lose 3-0 in Carlow on Saturday) and our reserves.
Oh the A league!!! I was (the only one?) there. It was freezing. We conceded two in the first two minutes, were four down by half time and didn't start to play until about 60 minutes in. I know they're only kids and I really don't want to offend anyone but our keeper could literally have stayed at home. We hit the post and missed an open net but didn't deserve anything really. The last two goals were complete slop.
To be fair our midfield was grand but we didn't have a defence - no shape at all. As I said, mostly kids and I don't want to offend anyone. I was really impressed with Shiels though - he gave it loads of talk and was really encouraging. He seems sharp enough to be honest.
We tend to believe that words enable thought. But words can also substitute for thought.

1:30 is the just the travel club coach, the team probably don't leave An Poitin Stil til 4:30 or so. No truth in the rumours that the Giller has the team warming up in coal miners helmets either :-)
Major road works on the way out of Limerick will hold the bus up (Have you ever been on the bog road to Athlone in bus as a matter of interest?) also Its a bus with smokers and people with weak bladders, they will need food and regular refreshment stops.
With Monkfish Travel its not a trip, its an adventure!
