Mervue take six points off Derry and push into the top four at the right time.
Derry appear to be seeking an award for involvement of most unusual scoreline, as they lost 3-4 the other week.

Galway Utd. 0:0 Cork City
This may have been a result neither team wanted. Probably not though, it puts a huge hole in each's challenge. UCD can guarantee winning Group 2 tomorrow against St. Pat's by beating them. But that's not guaranteed.

Also, if one of the non-reserve sides finish in the top four (possibly Mervue United), they get the opportunity to take on the bottom placed side in the LOI First Division in a promotion/relegation playoff.
