Can someone tell if ray massey is gone from the Desmond league to the city league??
Cheers
I for one hope Annacotty will get through this hard time their having, there a good progressive club with a great schoolboy structure. It's easy to kick someone when there down.
EVERYTHING is black and white
Thats just textbook................
ya ray has gone to carew park from askeaton.was talking to him and he said he could not play for them this season after the crap that went on last year.he is good enough to play prem in town imo.
Heard conor lynch signed for boro last night and steve gogs and fitzmaurice were up in boro training too but dont think they signed. David owens has a bad injury and mightent be fit for a few months and dan gogs is supposed to be up in dublin working and wont be coming down. As for the rest I couldnt tell ya where their going heard regional are after 1 or 2 more.Plus whoever was asking about Purcell he was there for a few weeks and left he must of known what was coming.
Must be one of the favourites to go down now. Its a good setup up there and its a shame to see a Premeir team go this way.
there set up is one of the best in town but yours players have to want to play for you in times like this no run too other clubs as it surly no because they have'nt the facility's .. balla to name have only a 20ft container still end up top 3or4 each year loads of youth players comming thru.. fair play to the committee for getting all this BUT man management and respect of players is not there..there committee worked hard for this and they were badly let down by players...and managers tail between the legs as they say..
if aisling put as much effort into fielding a team for the new season as they did trying to make sure other clubs were affected by new rules then maybe they would be ok,but i have no sympathy for a club trying to stop a bloke playing junior soccer because he tried his hand at senior soccer 10 yrs earlier ie gareth ryan ,david dunphy ,jossy ,just to name a few.id say there is a fair dose of foot in mouth out annacotty way at the moment.ps least the light bill on the new pitch wont be that high if there isnt many matches on it
dont want to get in to detail bout players and loi but it looks like like they did'nt put much effort in to the propposed rule ether..and if fellas are still playing with clubs after 8 to 10 yrs after LOI how in the world are they playing priemer there at 3b status at that surly there best days are behind them ..another 1 for debate..i suppose you got gordon stuwart in his mid 40's and still a great keeper..
he was with kp the year before abbey.he went back to askeaton last season and wanted to test himself with prem in town this year should be good enough held his own out in the desmond league premier last season but to be honest thats a different league than the city one.
in my opinion the rule was not a one club vendetta but more the intention of the rule was to bring a sense of community back to junior football in limerick. The Limerick premier league has become a monopoly for one or two clubs and the league as a competition has become redundant to a degree..Not to single Pike out but how many players that won the FAI with Pike this year played with them underage ? The premier league in limerick needs to get competitive again and in my opinion the new rule was just attempting to do that.no more no less
you have a few valid points but i totally disagree with your opinion as it was a one club vendetta,as for pikes fai team ,we were out of schoolboys for few years and it took us a long time to recover ,we have worked around the clock in the mean time to get our facilitys up to scratch to try and attract the best players available which i might add these players should have a right to decide who they want to play for and the new rule would not have allowed for that.Pike have set the bar domestic wise the last 5 years and its upto other clubs to step up to the challenge, balla are doing it their way by promoting youth but in my opinion other clubs are just sitting back feeling sorry for themselves instead of accepting the challenge.Remember to be the beat you have to beat the best
has mikey o gorman from nenagh signed wit boro?
