Have the WIT done anything significant in football terms on the pitch before? Are they any good, could anyone in the College make the jump up to eL football?

Not sure how performances on the field went over the season but the WIT squad contained the likes of Stephen Grant,Paul Ometoso,Neil Andrews and Shane Dunphy who have all played for WUFC over the past season or two.

Confused, this is the latest reply from WUFC PRO, Ray Scott.

The trials are being held on Sunday so that anyone who is of the standard and succeeds but has not got WIT on their CAO form can do so before the change of mind deadline.

The trails have been notified to all media outlets in South East but we have not formally launched the scheme as yet because there are still some formalities to be tidied up.

Im in the wit and i have never heard of the soccer team being any good but as was pointed out there were some waterford united players in the wit in the last few years. Wit are the kings of college hurling and that seems to be where most of the sporting emphasis is.
