Rovers have made an appeal for more stewards next season
FAI requirements that Rovers most have a minimum of 50 stewards for all home games next season
Steward may get to officiate Ireland games

i really think that number should be edited out
...whats the point ,sure at least half of galway must have it by now
it was an invalid number anyway .
No, the number is also used for booking the All-weather Pitch. It had a digit missing. The correct number is 086 36 37 000. The error was printed in the Sligo Champion, where I guess the origional post was copied from.Originally Posted by gustavo

thats why it was invalidOriginally Posted by Redzer
I mentioned in a post lastnight that it was a good job that a digit was missing because the Galway lads might be interested in the number, and the post was deleted! Bit heavy I thought, no worse than the above, and I didn't even use the word Krusty!Originally Posted by Redzer

I don't know how strict they are on this really. Last season they were supposed to have a certain number of stewards too and they had nowhere near it.Originally Posted by 1 9 2 8

Well if we don't get near the numbers we will have to hire security which will mean less money for players
im not sure that i'd be able to do it..i wouldn't be able to stand there being all professional watching a match it would drive ya mad..is anyone on here going to do it?
I was talking to a few Galway people at the game last night and they were telling me that it's the GUFC supporters trust that do the stewarding in Terryland. Maybe this is something our Trust could do in the Showgrounds taking a more active roll on match days especially when stewards are badly needed
id say the trust does way too much as it is never mind taking on this aswell
Yeah you're right the POTM is far more important then stewardingOriginally Posted by Redtop
what about all the fundraising and other stuff that they do?suppose you'll be putting your name forward will you
Is that fund raising done on match days too? The trust has been increasing in numbers so it wouldn't have to be the same peopleOriginally Posted by Redtop
