Mark Bellingham, who I believe is Jude Bellinghams father tweeted this tonight - Anyway, it's been enjoyable but this half Irish kid is going to go online and watch his mixed race England u21 International son make his competitive debut in the German Cup - so there's that, Dortmunds latest UK import is eligible for us. He scored on his debut also.

It doesn't alter the fact that he is eligible, which is all I am saying and what the thread is for.
Well he is potentially eligible but, as long shots go, this might be the longest one yet on this thread!
Yeap Mikey is the fellow we need as a number 10. Some irish fans were creaming their pants with all this Grealish show-off. Well this fellow Johnston is twice the player Grealish is. I hope Neill Lennon helps the cause because he is gonna manage Ireland in 4 or 5 years
Luca Connell wakes to a vision of a bleak, bleak future...
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
I find blatant wumming a far bigger deterrent.
That's not true. He's never played for any other country so he can switch up until a competitive senior cap or 3 after 21 if the new rules pass.
Not that I rate him that highly or think he'll switch though.
Lads Ireland need this Mikey and pronto, let me tell you. The guy is there for the taking, plays for an irish-celtic oriented club in Britain the other being Hibernian, I think weve got to be very proactive for this matter. Kenny doesnt have much credit to spend, he has Duff there Duff is a mentor for the fellow Johnston, silver tongue and convince the Mikey. Easy
Look i dont wanna say "big nations" because in football there arent these "big nations " in international football. The big league countries in Europe England, Spain,Germany and France are capping youngsters with dual citizenship for fun. I always thought that Germany in the 80's and 90's wanted to cap Wynton Ruffer but they couldnt.
Ireland national team can get players in from the eligibility procedures but it has to be done quickly than when Charlton was at helm. Young irish players are ok, but we need options. Redmond has an irish mother, well call his mother and family, that kid is half irish on the papers.

Seems a nice chap, father from Westmeath. Looking at the college option. Been with Red bulls since the age of 12 and travelled all over the world with them. Won a feile division one title with his New York team. Seems a talented chap and not short of confidence.

Any mention where his international allegiances would lie if it came to it?
directly from the articlehis identity is very much tied to Ireland and the GAA. His mother, Eileen (née O'Rourke) is the daughter of Tipperary and Leitrim parents. And when he arrived to play for Red Bull last weekend, he wore an Irish soccer jersey.
"I knew they'd be taking pictures and stuff and I'm Irish so I just wanted to represent and show love. So I had to wear an Ireland jersey.
"Dad (Chris Dalton) grew up in Ireland. He was born in Westmeath, in Castletown Geoghegan, and he went to America at 17. My mother's parents are from Ireland too. Her mother is from Tipp and her father is from Leitrim."
