He also looks too much like that guy who won Dancing with the Stars for my liking.

There is certainly a collectiveness about Bohs that Talbot alludes to - Rovers heads dropped each time after conceding as if it a loss was inevitable where Bohs shrugged off the equaliser and went and scored again. I thought it would work the other way round tbh. This derby hoodoo is seriously damaging Rovers with 9 points dropped in this fixture alone and an 18 point swing in a month will have to planted the seed of doubt in Tallaght.
He is quite the character alright! He lives and dies by the sword ; his twenty accumulated minutes of time wasting vs Dundalk came back to bite them in the end, but last night he was a bit wiser and used it to more effect. His post match rallying shout equated to "how d'ya like them Apples?". On top of that he made some very good saves. Great togetherness at Bohs though, and you're right, Rovers had the look of a team that knew they would lose. Bradley's man management abilities should be called into question. I was so surprised Bolger managed to stay on the pitch.

Do yo even remember when yhe last time that was?

Greg Bolger and Talbot sum up the difference between the sides. Talbot 100% commited to the club amd his teammates. Bolger spent the game moaning to the ref and teammates and went missing when they needed something in the 2nd half.

Watched last nights game - a few points.

Thought the ref was good throughout. The pens were solid pens,no madness with cards.Unlike him,but he was decent.

Mandroiu has the World at his feet, what a thundermother****er******* rocket of a goal,Good passion in him also which is a good thing to see imo.

Long is a coach and a bit.

Rovers have sfa decent players.Finn is excellent,Bolger puts his shifts in.Carr is good but is getting played way out of poz.Lopes and Grace fine.Ethan Boyle needs to sign-up for rugby league. No skill, just a big fooker.
Bradley looked like a man that had been sparring a few rounds with Conor McGregor when he was interviewed post match.Head down, looked dejected,no eye contact.

It was a great match.Enjoyed it thoroughly.

When you've been watching football for as long as me the current run is just a blip I've seen before.
, people read way to much into it

This is not a blip. This is turning into a tradition. Far more experienced and expensive Rovers teams put to the sword by Bohs. Last night Bohs were short 6 1st teamers and lost 4 more players injured in the game and yet still somehow found a way to win. That's humiliating and Rovers should be embarassed

Equaling a run that hasnt happened in nearly 40 years is hardly a blip! It isnt massive in relative terms to past challanges Rovers have faced tough like losing Milltown, examinership, submitting false accounts, relegation, SDCC having to take control of the almost derelict new ground in Tallaght, a spell of 16 years without a league, 32 without a cup for cup specialists so yeah I can see why some Rovers fans would take this on the chin!

Sure they don’t even care about the derby, the project, only the project 😂😂😂
Afraid to sack the inept Bradley after rushing to sack Fenton and Kenny prematurely..
rathfarnham hoop will be on soon to “remind us” of the difference between second and third 😁

    Brilliant

In fairness, there's an awful lot of hype around Rovers players, but not a whole lot of substance. Mannus is a top class keeper, Grace, Finn, McEniff, Byrne and Clarke(but not as a left full, absolutely wasted there) and Carr (again, playing in his proper position) would all add to every team in the league, but honestly, as a Bohs fan, I genuinely don't see which Rovers players would significantly improve the first choice Bohs 11. Mannus and Talbot are roughly the same, Pender and Lyons are both better right fulls than Boyle. In fact Barker is probably as good a right full as Boyle, but that's more down to his deficiencies than Barker being a world beater. Kavanagh is a class player, but he's not being played. Wouldn't swap either him or Clarke for Leahy and Kirk though. Grace is a very good player but I wouldn't be pushing Cornwall, Finnerty or Barry out the door to facilitate him. All three are significantly better than Lopes, who I never rated as a centre half with Bohs, but did think I did a good job in the centre of the park (unlikely to get in there ahead of Rovers 16 other central mids though) Levingston showed Bolger up to be the flat track bully he is. All mouth and not half the player he thinks he is. Byrne is a class player but I certainly wouldn't swap him for Mandroiu, and Watts is still the same as he was with Bohs, full of fancy tricks, passes with the outside of the foo, but not a whole lot of end product. If he had stayed under Keith Long and Trevor Crollys' tutelage, instead of playing for that bufoon Bradley, he would have been in an infinitely better positiion to go back to England, which has always been his expressed aim. Finn, once again, completely went missing against Buckley, whilst Greene is shocking and should be nowhere near a team hoping to challenge. As I said, I rate Carr as a striker but he's just like a slightly better version than Darren Manseram. Rovers have very little on the bench either and I presume Joey O'Brien is embarrassed to be picking up a hefty wage at this stage. All in all, Rovers may have the money, but Jesus, they really are not in the same league as Dundalk..Or Bohs for that matter -)

Based on that analysis perhaps you can explain why if the Bohs side is so much better than us, how come you’re below us in the table?

Bohs players are part time, so they dont have recovery time that full time sides do. With full time sides like Rovers they can stay overnight for games like Finn Harps/Derry and can have recovery days for their players. Bohs dont have that luxury. James Talbot for example was playing/training for Bohs and then getting up at 5am next day to go work for An Post.

Shamrock Rovers as a club are an embarrassment. From poor management, players lacking in effort/commitment only interested in getting their money every week and the fans hammering the players at the final whistle Friday night the club seems a joke from top to bottom. Rovers mave have money but you can't buy class.

Bohs from the directors to the players and the fans are united and pulling in the right direction. Hopefully that answers ypur question why Bohs are everything that Shamrock Rovers aren't.

    Lol , comedy gold,
Rovers don't stay away the night before Derry/harps matches as they don't have the budget, the players lack of commitment in your eyes has them second in the league. Enjoy your win but calm down.

As regards embarrassment, have a look at your players efforts against other teams, your lack of effort to even keep the weeds down in your stadium and .....eh ...bob Marley image rights......

Bohs don't have a divine right to win every game and unfortunately we can't play Shamrock Rovers every week. Hopefully Shamrock Rovers keep on doing what they're doing. Spoofer manager and alot of bang players basically stealing a wage from the club. Does Joey O'Brien wear a balaclava going into training? An embarrassment of a footballer these days

Rovers stayed up in Letterkenny the night before playing Harps a few weeks ago.

Which game were the Bohs players “embarrassing “ in ? For part time players they have been exemplary all season. Lost some games alright but who didn’t ?

Stadium was cleared up - by volunteers and is in a better state than Milltown 😁
Your joke of a club with its bought history and ridiculous sense of self importance gives all fans a laugh - cup specialists 😁 really ? Lecturing on fan owned (100 years after Bohs were doing it) before pimping the club out the first chance you got.. pretending you are at the level of Dundalk - delusions of adequacy for a joke club with no history careering towards the next bankruptcy
