This better be on TV. FFS, I'm raging that I couldn't see last nights game.

Good draw, they got Bertha Herlin. Payday and winnable.

Ryanair Dublin to Berlin only 60.62 + bags cost thats flying out on wednesday and back on friday
Thats not bad
would it hard to get a ticket for away leg
Actually - the full tltle of the club makes them sound like the German wing of those little scrotes who have done so much damage to the image of the League and Bohs in the past:
Hertha BSC Berlin
Kom Igen, FCK...
Will Pats be allowed play the Hertha game in Inichore now its first round proper?
I'm would have a reasonable guess that the temporary seats in the RDS may present problems and may not be useable.
It all comes down to how well they are anchored.
Temporary seats apparently aren;t permitted according to the UEFA Stadia Regs published in 2006 - although that stance may have changed since
Kom Igen, FCK...
Good draw for Pats considering the alternatives. Might be some good German TV money available too.
Heard this morning, that Pats home leg might have to be played in England. Croke Park and the RDS are the only UEFA approved grounds at this stage of the competition and arent available for the dates involved.
I wouldn't be counting on a massive TV payday. Hertha aren't that big a club in Germany, particularly compared with Schalke, Dortmund, Hamburg, and Stuttgart, who are also in the competition.
They'll only get decent money if they agree to an early kick off.

Can't they file to have the legs switched ?
Approved or not its a bad state of affairs if not one Loi ground cant hold a first round proper game. If Drogheda had qualified this season for the Champons League stages, where would these games been played? Dalymount should of been revamped years ago.
First leg confirmed away. Flights booked. 220 all in for me and the missus.
Not winnable, we'll make a couple of quid on it, and the fans get a decent trip out of it.
The game will be in Dublin. Not confirmed where though.
