He's been on SKY quite a bit so it doesn't surprise me.

Keith mentioned "I was really, really sad to see Duffer go, I was devastated, it was a horrible time. I was devastated he left. I was disappointed that he left. It wasn't a nice chapter, it hurt, but wasn't nice, the spotlight that came on, it was a horrible period, unsavoury."
What was the unsavoury bit and why did Damien quit?

All I know is Duff walking away meant we got a proper coach in Anthony Barry to join the set up. Duff walking was probably the best thing to happen to Kenny.

Supposedly walked because the FAI made a fuss about videogate I think.

I wish I'd get good jobs every time I finish doing badly in the previous one. Failing upwards I think it's called.

Wow seems like 10 years ago since Duff and Alan Kelly were part of the set up.
I don’t even remember what the fuss was.
Something to do with 1916 or something?

You're not wrong. Covid has really warped my perception of time...

He/they showed a video about Anglo-Irish history (Easter 1916 and football related) designed to stir emotions. Some lunatics got upset.

    Thanks for the info.
Reminds me of being stopped at a checkpoint in 80's crossing the border and my 3 year old sister leaned over and asked the soldier 'are you the one who shot James Connolly?'
    My parents' faces dropped.
    He replied, 'Who's James Connolly?'

Maybe when the book mentioned in CraftyToePoke’s signature gets serialized by the tabloids, we’ll get the tell all.

There’s a part of me that hopes Kenny goes full scorched earth in a year or two. Not for any greater good, simply for my own entertainment.

If he writes how he talks it'll be a colouring book.

I don't think even a ghost writer could turn anything Stephen would come out with into something coherent.

Visions of the Brentford defence standing in a wall at the edge of the box for hours listening to Andrews talk absolute rhubarb

    Ha ha.

Though for the record, Brentford's last two set-piece coaches departed for Man.City and Arsenal.

Though the club also installed a Sleep Coach a while back. Dunno what happened to her, but maybe KA is being lined up for that job, too?

Thomas Frank: "And now a few words from Keith..."
    Players: "Zzzzzzzz"
