Champions League, boring or what?

While I do like the competition, I enjoyed it a lot more when it was proper Champions League. Only the champions getting in meant that you weren't watching the same teams every year.

As for the anglophile thing, I like fish n chips. Does that make me an anglophile? Anyway, what's wrong with getting behind a team from another country, as long as you also get out regularly to see your local team?

No, it doesn't I happen to like fish and chips myself.
You don't qualify as an Anglophile, no fan of an eL club does. What an Anglophile is, in this instance, is your stereotypical barstool Premiership fan who can't be arsed going to see his local club. I follow Liverpool in England, but, the last thing I would ever do is cheer them on against City. Glad I could put the record straight.

If u think the CL is boring well then u might as well give up watching football, it is the top of the game with the best of matchs, every sport has the odd boring team and game but to say watching a comp with Real, Juve, Man U is boring is crime on ur part. Ferguson was making the point last year that it was beter than the World Cup and did u even see the Juve-Real semi?
