    All change @ the Cross........!

    Friday night should be interesting.

Now thatthe hurling is over it will be nice to read some bits about City again in the local "rags".

Some stuff I'd like to know is as follows:

    - Will he / won't he......is Flynny going to play. This has got to be the best kept secret since Alan Reynolds request to rejoin City last week ( only joking )

    - Will Kearney be in the team / squad? It would be nice to see what he is made of.

    - Will our two new African siginings be on display - looking forward to that.

    - How will Bennett do back in the middle of defence instead of Derek ( suspended )

    - Has George returned from Croke Park ( Spillane had him all but togging out lasst Sunday in that article he wrote last Saturday night in the echo )?

    - Where has everyone gone from this forum of late.....it's like the middle of the close season since the Pat's game........even the Dubs have gone quite?

Spillage thinks we are racists again or something would be great

Are going to do any thing about this fool ranting on with any ole twaddle with no research or fact. The guy is a liablity. I dont mind critics ..... but this guy is really pushing the boat on a couple of topics.

    Spillage OUT !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I hope Flynny is fit, obviously, but I'd sooner if there was even the slightest doubt that they didn't take a chance on him, I can't see him starting.

I think Kearney will be on the bench if flynn if fit, i reckon it could be him right side and doyle up front if flynn is out

the nigerians, unlikely that the embassy and governing bodies will have gotten their act together so quickly, i think we would have heard at this stage if they were going to be eligible for the weekend. I don't expect to see either for a few games.

I think Bennett will do very well in defence, i think he and Murray should be our starting two, no disrespect to big Derek, but we were doing well with that pair, they should ahve been allowed to continue.

george has returned from Croke park, although he wasn't smiling, and the red mohawk has been shaved off.

Work permit applications take about 3/4 months to go through. it has nothing to do with any embassy. It's all down to Dept. of Enterprise, Trade and Employment

I think its quiet likely the 2 Murrays will start at the back. Bennet was on the bench but K Murray was brought when Derek sent off at UCD. He did well so expect him to continue back there.

I reckon Kearney should get a run, at least he will attempt to take on the full back. Don't really rate Casey as a winger. He can cross the ball but doesn't take on defenders and his work rate is poor.

Doyler played well up front against UCD so I reckon he could start there on Friday

    Bang on.
I hope Kevin Murray does not start at centre back, as I think Crowe is far too experienced and crafty for him.
I hope Georgie gives Honker a complete roasting!
