Episode 5 of season 5 on TG4 tonight, think it a week behind FX. I don't have digital so no spoilers or else I'll set Omar on you

Bastid Schedulers on TG4. They should be shouting from the rooftops that they are showing this series, not hiding it away in the wee small hours. Have to stay up till 1.45 am to get my fix. Still the best thing on TV btw. Have a feeling the casualty rate is going to start soaring as this series reaches it's climax. Stunning climax to last weeks episode (No 4 for those of us not watching on FX). Marlo has to be one of the most chilling villians ever put on screen.

Another brilliant episode tonight on the FX channel. The Soprano's used to have a few duds/filler but the Wire just cranks it up. I won't spoil it for those a week behind.

Chris and his female sidekick (convicted killer in real life) are ice cold. I've never wanted two tv characters to get a bullet so badly in my life. Prison would be too good for em

    God I've only got 4 episodes left.....cruel.

Missed it on TG4 (one of those shows that you miss the start of you don;t want to join in the middle) so now watching on Channel 6. Fairly slow to start with near the end of season one hooks you in.

Anyone know if HBO have a box set planned? Would hate to buy individual series & then have the full set come out.

Pete I think they will be releasing them all together shortly (check amazon over the next few weeks).

Even if you buy the boxsets individually it's worth every penny just to see guys like Omar, Slim Charles, Marlo, Chris etc. So many brilliant characters.

I hope so . Ok he bent the rules a tad but there was still a serial killer on the streets.

Kima? What a snake! Very disappointed in her. At least Bunk didn't spill the beans.

Shuddup, shuddup shuddup. (Fingers in ears). I'm watching on TG4 so I Haven't seen any of that yet. Seriously though, is it just me, or does anyone else feel this series has disappointed just a little bit? Don't get me wrong, I still love the show to bits and I think it will take a long long time for anything to even come close to it, I just feel this series hasn't quite lived up to the others, especially Season 4, which was stunning. It always felt ultra credible to me, but i just think they seem to have stretched it a bit this year, the serial killer storyline in particular.
